Can anyone advise me? We cleaned a glass shower for a customer ( the same way we have been cleaning for 3 years) and the customer called to tell me that after the last time we cleaned, there are 'drag' marks on the glass - not sure how to describe them, you can see where we wiped. When the shower is dry, the glass looks perfect, not a mark - but when you get steam in the shower, these marks appear. They are not scratches - does anyone have any suggestions?

Hmm. Was the shower not cleaned properly, have you removed mildew from only certain area, therefore resulting in only a couple of clean spots showing when it was wet? Have you tried to re-clean it, maybe someone else has experienced the same problem?

Thanks Kevin - this is really strange! Yes we re cleaned the shower yesterday - it is a new shower so no mildew. Once we clean it, it looks perfect - not a mark in sight. Once you run hot water and steam appears then only can you see these marks. It is as if the steam 'is not sticking' to certain areas??? Any suggestion of what cleaning products other use for showers? Thanks

Have you tried rinsing it very thoroughly with plain water and then use a squeegee on it?

Your basic glass cleaner should work. Are you sure the seal is not broken in the door frame allowing moisture to enter inside the pane? Have you tried to clean it, while the area is steamed up?

we clean all showers and tubs with a product called nuratic acid it is the best i ever tried-spray on,let it stand 2 minutes, wipe the scum away.Home Depot sells this product also another great tip---you can use floor stripper to clean a heavily greased stove with years build up--it will wipe off with no problem.

be very careful of the nuratic acid. If it lands on any chrome or brass colored metal or any metal for that matter it can discolor the finish ellen
