It seems like for the past year or so, the new clients we take on, their homes are in such bad shape. It is taking us longer and longer to do the initial cleans. I guess it is because people are just so busy now. There is less and less time to clean. Anyone else in the residential business finding this to be true? But on the bright side, that is what keeps us busy. Patti

Your right Natalie. I get so sick of cleaning these types of homes. We went to clean one today (a regular client) and all three kids were out of school and both parents were there plus both grandparents. They knew we were coming but waited til we got there to decide to take showers, get dressed, eat breakfast etc. And the place was a mess. I told my help today I think I will go to work for Merry Maids. LOL Patti
By the way Natalie, i just read the article and its great. Thank you

One thing the article talks about is clients who live like pigs so to speak and these very same clients are the ones that you will never be able to please. This is so true. We have had a client for a few years with carpets that are totally stained with pet urine (I mean totally) It smells so bad in that house. And she is one of the clients that will call to complain if she finds a cobweb. Patti
