When doing a walk through for a residential estimate you should look at: Clutter in the home (this will add time picking up items) Look closely at the bathroom showers and tubs (how much build up, a lot of build up will take a considerable amount of extra time) Amount of dust on baseboards White doors and woodwork (will all doors have to be cleaned) Wood floors (take extra time to clean) Kitchen appliances and cabinets (do they have a lot of buildup) Do they have young children (If so the glass surfaces will require a lot of cleaning) Also, you should ask if there will be family members home when you are cleaning. (this will add time to your cleaning working around people)
Anyone else have anything to add?

I charge extra only if they have a lot of pets and an excessive amount of pet hair in the home. Patti
