How do you price move-in/outs? Is there a difference for houses vs apartments? I'm hiring people to do the work for me so and depending on how business goes I plan on having 2 people on each job for the sake of time efficiency. I plan on paying $10/hr. What do you think? How can I improve my plan?

Move-in/move-out cleanings require a lot more cleaning even though most are empty. Most of the time you will have to clean the refrigerators, ovens and windows with these kind of cleans. Also some clients want the garages and basements cleaned also. When we do these cleanings, we clean all doors, baseboards, inside all cabinets and closets, etc. So you can see there is a lot more time and work involved. You need to go and look at the home or apartment first and find out what all they want done and look at the condition of the residence. Patti
