I have a possible customer, as I have tried to confirm an appointent for tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. But can not contact the customer to confirm. I left messages he did not return and he is 50 miles away. Should I just show up he iis there? How far to drive for a single client on average?
Thanks!! John Runer

John. If I couldn't contact these people and they wouldn't return my calls, I wouldn't drive 50 miles. We do a lot of driving weekly becuase we are in a small rural town and we service the next big city which is Cincinnati OH. But all these customers are regular clients. There is no way I would drive that far when I couldn't even get the client to return my messages. It sounds like they are backing out but aren't considerate enough to let you know. Patti

Was this a customer whom a time was sit with you to do a job or a meeting to give estimate? Did you tell him you would be there at a certain time?

This customer said he would call to let me know if there was a change, he also said to call him monday and let him know if I could still come and he would return my call to keep the appointment. He wanted to discuss things over the phone one more time then have me come out. But he would never return my calls. He contacted me thorugh another company, but then I guess he backed out? I think he wanted a set price over the phone but for house that large and move in cleaning wich means a lot of different things to customers I needed to see the house in person.
