I am not one to spoil animals. My dog has about 6 toys. The one toy that he enjoys the most though is, this overstuffed oversized tennis ball. It` the #1 toy. Anytime during the day or night he knows where this toy is. Not very hard to keep track of things when your ownly earthly possessions can be counted on two hands. If you try to take this ball from my dog... he will fight you (playfully) all day or night long to get it back. Why? he only has about 6 things that he calls his own. I also think that the dog enjoys taking back what is his. So a good question is what you have in your life. What is important? If you had to count 6 things out, and could only have these 6 things what would they be? What matters to you the most? I would post more but I have the ball hidden behind my back and the dog is getting nervous......lol What matters to you the most?

About a year before I met Ben, I was dating a guy who was killed in a motorcycle accident...stupid lady did a u-turn in the middle of the night just over the cusp of a hill..he hit her traveling over 70MPH..killed on impact. He was a great person, giving, loving and a bit of a wild child with his love of motorcycles. And the days following his death, I finally realized that he taught me to live my life with the passion that I had buried deep inside me for far too long and best of all he taught me to love again..to trust again. And from that I have remembered that message to be able to love my Ben without limits and to trust his intentions. I am thankful for the way he went out of this world ..he died doing something he loved..something he was passionate about...it has been 3 years this past Oct 31 since he left but he is still here reminding me to live every day as if it was your last....full throttle.
So his message still lives on ....Last week, I finally realized why in the last year and half why I have gotten increasingly really nervous in dangerous driving situations..where in the past it wouldn't really bother me..I would just drive anywhere in any weather. In the Erie PA area the weather can change on a dime...Lake effect snow conditions- white outs ....icy rain etc. Always on the the same stretch of the highway that I travel to most of my accounts and daily errands.
At first I thought ..."I must be getting old" and/or "paranoid"..but i what I found is that since I have found my better half have I finally feel like I have a lot to loose. His influence in my life has been in subtle ways yet that have impacted me greatly. To answer Kevin's question ..I don't think I could do without the love of my man, Ben. However, he is not a thing..love is but without him it's not the same. I see all of our hopes and dreams, unconditional love..I see for the first time in many years a direction...a purpose to this crazy thing called life.
In finally feel like I am living my life in "full throttle" and don't want to miss a thing. Somehow it makes sense to me ..I hope you get my point.
-Kathleen Now my dog...can't live without his blankie...he carries it around to where ever I am to sleep on it or begs to be covered up by it..once Ben gets out of the bed in the morning..takes his warm spot and waits for me to cover him up with his blankie..now that is spoiled.

Kevin, I know that we all want family; health, happiness, and financial security, but I think what you are asking is , What are 6 material things we would want to keep that we have now. As far as material items I would like to keep the following:
1. Fishing equipment. 2. Camper and nice truck to pull it with. 3. My outside fire pit. 4. My Hot Tub. 5. My Grill. 6. My Computer with internet.

Hmm, material things I want to hold on to I think would be.....
1. My charmed and mystical collections (Choice of one would be swords) 2. My exercise equipment (Choice of one would be bowflex) 3. My dinette set 4. Hope chest my dad and mom bought me when I was 15 5. My bamboo table/chairs 6. My dresses (Instead of shoes, I like dresses) (Choice of one, any)
Could live without any of these, but these are the things I have that I like the most I think.
