Fortune Cookie or Almond Cookie

I was working late at the office last night, working late means Chinese carry-out. Over the last year it seems I have always been working late, built up a friendly relationship with the proprietor of the restaurant, (we clean his carpets) he now sends a boy to deliver my food when I call, they also know I prefer a almond cookie, its not that I do not like the taste of the fortune cookie. I just do not believe in them. A funny amusing false prophet I usually say when I do see one, or see somebody read one.

I am a fact guy, I believe in proper research, odds, and past experience. I will very rarely leave things up to fate. I know the ODDS on success and the rate of failure for anything that I venture into.

In all cases of business, any business or service you can draw a plan and work-up for desired outcome. I would also say most people leave this area up to fate. They get involved with out weighing the risk vs. reward.

Don`t be this type of person, don`t turn to the fortune cookie for your business or personal life outcome.

Fortune and Fate is not a measured factor, don`t be the person who says shit happens or it was going to happen anyway.

You have the ability to control outcome and desired level of success.

Open that fortune cookie for fun, but please do not put any stock into it.

Well, to make a conclusion, last night, I received a fortune cookie with my dinner by accident, was it a accident or fate for me to receive that fortune cookie?

Great post Kevin. I also feel the same about luck. Like when you get a good hand at poker. Its not because of luck. It is because of which seat you are in and how the cards were shuffled. All things happen because something makes it happen. IF you read a fortune cookie and you believe in them then perhaps your sub concious mind makes them seem to happen. If you start a new business and you make a great contact of a potiential new client and you react to that contact and get the contract; that doesn't mean it was luck . It just means you were in the right place at the right time and you used your skills to react upon it.
So to all of you, Good Hunting and go out there and make your s luck happen for you.
With all that said, you may still hear me say good luck to someone. It is more a figure of speach and really means Good Hunting and I hope you bag that trophy.

Linda, I love eating them and seeing what it says also. Being a typical man I tend to try to make them mean something sexual. Also being a typical man , It is just my ,"LUCK" that they never come true.lol.
