This is the never ending thread or post. It is simple by some standards. Somebody taught you something in life. What was it?
My Father[/b] taught me work is important, when I was a kid, I think I might have missed maybe a day of school. When I was sick or pretending to be sick. Dad would come to my bed and say.
" Your school is your work, Kevin when was the last day I missed work? , heres the deal, when I miss work, you can miss school, we don`t get sick around here!"
My Father the great man that he is worked for the Detroit News, from the time he was 11 till 57 Started as a Paperboy, ended as a district supervisor. Never missed a day of work, minus one health related issue (hernia) and a union paper strike. That hernia put him in bed rest for about a week and a half. During the Detroit Paper Strike, DAD worked at Ford on the line, while waiting to go back to his job.
Who taught you something? What have you learned?
