I recently was a conference and learned the following about how to prepare to turn your dreams into reality. The speaker simplifed it into a 3 step process. It goes like this:
1.) Dream bigger than the reward. -What would I do if I knew I could not fail?
2.) For every dream, have 2 Goals. -Use them as milestones of progress.
3.) For every goal, have 3 Action Plans
So now after you have thought about it..write it down. Keep it to one page. Then share it with people that are important to you and that can help you get there. This way you own your dreams and this can help propel you to follow through with the goals and action plans.
He gave some stats that indicated that people that write their goals down as being more likely to succeed with their goals than those that do not.
Just some food for thought and perhaps some help to turn your dreams into reality!

Good Stuff! I believe in writing term goals, quarterly. Both business and personal. I also believe in daily goals, daily to do lists that keep the main goals in perspective.

Thanks Kevin-
I put myself to the test this past Sunday and wrote out my "Dreams" with all the steps included.
So, far I have to say that it has been great. I have actively taken the steps to complete 2 of my action plans for separte 2 dreams. i feel so motivated and liberated.
After Feb 15th, which marked my first year in this business, I felt it was time to evaluate and tweak things to really reach my goals. And first to really define my goals. yeah I want to make money ..but how to do it in the most effienct manner as possible. After struggling over the year to write a business plan and stragic marketing plan, I am rewriting them to reflect my dreams thus goals, based on the three step method that I described. I really feel that it has brought clarity to my business and a sense of real direction.
In another post you mentioned about writing down ideas ....I started doing that in January so I would not loose a good idea or thought. Such an excellant idea to share with the members. It really helps me fill in the gaps with essential details that make all the difference from how to get from a- to b to c and so on.
Good Luck to all and I hope at least one of you trys the method that I have shared with you. I think you will be surprised when you take the time to write the dreams- goals down ..on how fast you can really achieve the success that you have always wanted.
