My advice is....You want it, if you can afford it!
Get it
I`m not so sure about you. I work on average 12 hours a day, doing something, some business function. Some work.
When I want to relax, of course there are several options. Several things to do to unwind. I can head down to the marina to fish, go boating, go to the cabin, swimming, jet skiing, a ride in the convertible. You name it, I try to surround myself with ways to relax, unwind and DE-stress.
Well the newest addition is a 12x20 pond in the backyard. Just to hear the waterfall, watch some fish and put my feet in the water after a long day. Plus it looks good.
You need to have creature comforts. You are going to be working very hard, for a very long time. When your finances allow it create and purchase things that offer you, and your family the ability to relax and enjoy time.
You will hear me mention many spoils in posts, vacations, exotic dinners, boating etc. You have to have your goals. The newer service goal might be, to make it another month in business or a nice Christmas (which today is 6 months away)
The veteran business owner might be have goals of early retirement, a really long vacation, vacation property, maybe a pond in the backyard.
Regardless, whatever your goal might be stick to it, follow through and work very hard to make them happen, then relax for a minute and think about your next goal.
Before
After
Specs Of Pond / 3 Days Construction
8000 Pounds Of Rocks $480
Pond Filter /Pump System $350
Pond Liner $210
Numerous Plants / Extra Decorations / Lighting $400
I built it from scratch, even dug the hole. So the extra bonus is to look and be reminded of the accomplishment.
Watch down the road for a new pond building service from Purity!
