Hey everyone, Here is one that has me feeling bad I have 2 different guys in 2 different homes about 700 sq. ft. of living space, very small. They are both sooo clean, but one lives 30 minutes away. 30 mintues away wants a price for wkly, bi, and mthly. The other wants monthly. Would $50.00, $60.00, $70.00 be too much for something this small? One is my supervisor (sorta) The other is a friend and I work with both at the Industrial job. Please help Thanks, Linda

Good morning: I don't move the van out of the driveway for less than $50.00 but you know the prices in your area. You must be comfortable with the prices that you charge. Calulate your time spent including driving time, apply you regular rate per hour and see where you are.

My minimum is $50.00 also, but I wasn't sure if I should do both on a monthly basis at $50.00. I want to be fair to them, but I want to be fair to myself as well :-) Thanks much :-)

Linda, they should understand. Just have a mileage charge for every mile past a certain point and use that consistently with all clients. I don't know what everyone charges. We charge .45 mile both ways if over 15 miles from base. on some occasions we charge expenses also. If I have three employees traveling 2 hours to a job. that is 12 hours of pay and figured into our bids separate from mileage. If you pay travel time, which we do.
