Apartment cleaning and apartment turnover service is two different things. Apartment cleaning is an apartment that is occupied and is cleaned on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. Apartment turnover service is empty rental apartments that are cleaned when former tenants move out, which includes a lot more detailed cleaning. Patti

I may be wrong, but I think you should maybe try speaking with a manger or owner of the complex before doing a regular cleaning if that is the case.
I think some people might try and get out of cleaning themselves and hire someone before moving out so that they are in a better position to get their security deposit back that normally goes towards cleaning/re-finishing areas of the apartment that have been damaged while the tenant lived there.
I know after my dad moved out of an apartment complex, they charged for EVERYTHING, including scotch tape removal in my bedroom that was from posters hung on the wall. Nail holes too. Everything. They charged like .25 cents per piece of tape.
So, if they're wanting you to do a deep cleaning, just be sure to double check if they are moving out soon or not so you can maybe set something up with the complex manager/owner to be sure it is okay you clean.

Most times when you do apartment turnovers, the owner of the building is the one that hires you. Then they take the cleaning amount off the former renters deposit. We very seldom have the previous renter hire us to do the cleaning. Only on condos and luxury apartments. Patti

Patti, What are your apt turnover rates. Do you charge by the hour?
