Hey everyone, Just need some feedback. I am meeting with a lady Tuesday to clean a 2ooo sq. ft. home. No pets, no children, 2 elderlies. This could be an important account for me. I am meeting with the daughter in her "office". They were very unhappy with the last cleaners who supposedly did not do all they said they would do Anyway, like I said this one is really important so would I be doing a bad thing to only charge $150.00 for the initial and $110.00 bi-weekly? I know I could charge more, but for reasons that are important to me I want to bid this one low without going too low. Does that make sense? Thanks, Linda

Linda The 150.00 for initial sounds fine but for your area the 110.00 for bi-weekly sounds a bit high. Patti

Hmm, you may be right. I may call a friend of my hubbys who services this area and see what she would charge. What about $90.00 I could be okay with that.
Thanks, Linda

I think for a 2000 sq.ft. home the maintenance cleanings should run 90.00 a cleaning with no pets or children in the house. Patti

85.00 for weekly cleaning isn't too low. If it were bi-weekly it would be too low. Patti

Ok Patti, another question about this.
If the cats roam outside during the day, but stay inside during the night would $90.00 still be a better price? I have never seen this home, talking to her on phone.
Thanks, Linda

I think for the area you are in that 90.00 for a 2000 sq.ft. home is top dollar. If it were a larger home you could ask for more. Patti

Well I just added "my aunt" as a client today. Bi-wkly starting this Friday lol. This is the aunt that I am very close to so I am actually happy about it. She accepted my price with no problem and wants me to help her organize as well. I made a deal with her on that one. I help her organize, she helps me paint lol. She is a nurse, but would have been one heck of an Interior Decorater.
