You should be very careful with this one. If the painters made a mess than it can be hard to clean. Scratches and dings will also start to appear as you clean. Be sure you are not the one scuffing up the frames and point out any thing you see to the client as soon as you see them. It would be hard to help on this bid with out seeing them and trying some test spots out to see how hard they are to clean. Also would need to know if a ladder or pole could be used or would a lift be needed. If any damage has been done to windows and or frames and you do not record it by photo and client seeing it then you might end up being the one responsible to replace or fix them. Put a clause in your contract saying you will do this and that you will not be responsible for pre-existing conditions. At least thats what I would do.

With out seeing it the best I good suggest is to go through each unit and estimate time it will take. Add in supplies and come up with hourly rate that will produce a profit. Have three prices. Heavy soil, Med soil and Light soil. This is to cover you if the contractors do not clean up after theirself. Let them know which one you are charging at job start.

Can you imagine a life without windows? The already cramped office building you shove yourself into would not have windows.
