We have brought back the Janitorial & Carpet Cleaning service to the family business (Dad retired a few years ago and was doing window washing only due to an illness)
I was going to send out an email to everyone on my list... and wondered do I just list services we do, do I offer a referral incentive.. and what kind, do I send out coupons, what has worked and what do you think is the best idea.

Make sure your subject line invites them to read the email and doesn't sound like spam mail or they will just delete it. Something like "The Family Business is Back!" would be eye catching. Of course put your name in there so they recognize it.
Then, tell them you are back in business, what you will be doing, your phone number, email address, website, tell them to call to book their service today as slots will fill fast (provides that sense of urgency). Offer a referral bonus as well is a good idea.
