Had a client yesterday take a 30 point proposal, and picked it apart reducing the price. All they wanted was bathrooms, vacuum, break area and garbage. This happening to anyone else?

They havent come out & said lets eliminate this or that to get us a cheaper price, they are just saying can you come down thi$ much to meet a competitive bid......
or I just did one where he said he wasnt going to pay more than ________$ which would require a tight bid from me. In each case the client did say "in this economy"
So it is effecting the business.

Hi Kevin!
I had a client who did the same. I reduced my initial bid by $35.00 and ended up gaining two more accounts from this client.
Sometimes it pays to meet the client half way!
