Hello. I am very, very new to the business. I have been offered a job (my first) to clean a 1200sf 3 bed/1.5 bath home. She wants all of the rooms cleaned well. Here is a list she has given me. Please give me any helpful tips on pricing! Thank you!!
BEDROOM
All areas dusted-on top, on the front and underneath (all items removed and replaced) Window sills wiped Fingerprints washed from all woodwork, doorframes and switch plates Vacuum under the bed Baseboards wiped down Lamp shades wiped down or dusted Carpets vacuumed
KITCHEN
Countertops and backsplash cleaned (all items removed and replaced) Cabinet fronts washed Sinks scrubbed, including behind sink Outside of oven and refrigerator cleaned Sills wiped down Baseboards wiped down Floor washed
BATHROOMS
Tub thoroughly cleaned, rinsed, and left shining Shower glass doors washed in/out Shower door tracks cleaned Sinks scrubbed Toilets scrubbed inside and out including base and behind Mirror cleaned Sills wiped down Trash emptied Baseboards wiped down Wash floor
HALLWAYS
Baseboards wiped down Fingerprints washed from all woodwork, doorframes and switch plates Picture frames dusted Vacuum and/or wash floor
ALL OTHER LIVING AREAS
All furniture dusted (all items removed and replaced) Picture frames dusted Sills wiped down Cobwebs removed Couch and cushions straightened Hardwood or tile floors damp mopped Lamp shades wiped down or dusted Fingerprints washed from all woodwork, doorframes and switch plates Baseboards wiped down Carpets vacuumed

Beckah I really don't know the pricing of homes where you are located but this would be your standard initial cleaning from what is on the list. For a 1200 sq.ft. home for the initial I would charge 225.00 to 250.00 for the initial based on what the client has on the list. Patti

That sounds like a big job & if she is stating she wants all those areas specifically cleaned she sounds like she's picky too! Make sure you charge enough to make it worth your while & satisfy her too .

Sounds like a good start for you, it sound;s like a 150.00 to 175.00 job to me , but thats just in my area.

I'm with Freddie on this one.
Everything listed is on my deep clean checklist. This is what i do for every deep clean.
I would be around $150-175 as well.
If she wanted inside oven,fridge,etc..... i would charge extra for that.

Patti was right on target for the NH area. I used to charge this amount when I owned my cleaning service.
