Discount for advance payments?

Hi everyone, I just picked up another residential @80.00 per weekly cleaning and was asked if I would consider giving a discount if they paid 6 mos. in advance. I told him I had never thought about doing that, but that I would let him know what I could do next week. I guess I pretty much said yes to the discount. What kind of discount would you give? I would do 10% for 6 mo advance payment. Customer saves $208.00 and I get a lump sum.

I would offer a discount because you get paid up front and guaranteed to have this customer for 6 months.
