just a simple question. what do you do in the initial clean that you wouldnt do in a normal maintanence cleaning?

This is the same question I have. I was just asked to quote a job a little while back. I came in to high I guess. The potential new client told me others came in between $80.00 - 100.00 for a 2,800 square foot home. This would include upstairs and downstairs, not much for clutter but large bathrooms and a large home. I thought that price was to low so I bid it higher. I'm finding that it is all about price not what you really get out of the service. So the way I have it set up is that some of the items to be cleaned don't really need cleaning every other week so I can do a quick check of those items like the baseboards which would keep the price lower after the initial cleaning. My first cleanings are higher than the maintenance cleaning. Does this sound right?
