I'm trying to nail down this bidding process. I'm just doing general cleaning for offices and have a few accounts. The problem I have is I got some bids but I think it was probably more personality than pricing (I've lost many also due to probably overbidding). After cleaning the jobs and realized based on my time that I'm charging $20, $36, and $40 per hr on an account. Thus to be fair can some one tell me is $20 an hour a fair price for southern California (riverside county) or what is a fair profit I should seek to pay myself after all cost?? I know this is probably an age old question but.... calling out for a lifeline. I'm new(1st post) to the site and look forward to being a part of the community. P.s. Should I lower the cost on my $40.00 per hr account before they realize it and throw me out the door (been doing the account for some months now).
