What is the best way to ask one of my customer for price increase for Janitorial service we provide. Write Memo or face to face asking. Also, there is any form letter or words i can use. Thank you for your help!

;)I have always arranged a meeting with the contact person to discuss any increases in contract price. I find that this allows both parties a vehicle for discussion, ie you may not be aware that they are having cash flow problems, maybe they are looking to expand any number of criteria that could affect their approving an increase. Sitting face to face offers you the opportunity to counter any problems they have with an increase and allows you the chance to "dance" with them and maybe get a smaller increase or get add on sources of revenue or something as simple as a longer term contract in lieu of an increase etc. It is to easy to look at a piece of paper and say, no increase for them , hire another company.
