I just cleaned an apt for a senior citizen. She had 2 dogs & 2 cats & lived there for 11 years. There is barely enough room to walk thru & there are so much knick knacks on top of everything plus stuff on top of everything. Do I wipe every single knick knack, dust them off or just clean around them? Do I just vacuum the open areas of the floor or should I move whatever furniture I can move & vacuum underneath? I was glad that my daughter & her boyfriend helped me so the whole job was done in 4 hours. AM obligated to help her get rid of the junk? She asked for a monthly maintenance & asked her to get boxes where she can toss in stuff she no longer wanted. How do you deal with this kind of client?

Its a little late to be asking what you should be cleaning or not. Sounds like you have already did this job. These type jobs are very hard to estimate. I hope you bid it by the hour at slightly above average rate. Did you see the job before you bid it? If so that is the time when you should have found out if everything needed cleaned or not. It should have been specified on a proposal sheet before the start of the job. You can sure loose money and put in lots of nasty hard work if you do not make it clear on what you are going to do and how much you are charging.

So, let's get started and think this out together. You want everything in your budget. Whether it's your personal or business finances, you have to have a plan in place for your success and you need to learn to budget your money.

We've all had one--the room behind closed doors, where no one, not even our best friend, is allowed to look. It's an embarrassment, a point of contention in the family, a black hole, where things go in but nothing comes out.

Fire extinguishers are a must-have in every home and office building. When used properly, they can save lives and keep property from being destroyed. The most commonly used fire extinguishers contain dry chemicals. While these chemicals are successful in putting out fires, they can make a big mess.

Additionally improper waxing technique can result in irritation and torn or bruised skin. Learn the best way to apply wax without making a mess.
