Went to do a quote this morning and was led into the living room, couldn`t see carpet trough ground in dirt.Didn`t know what to say to customer, but in the end i had to advise it would be cheaper to buy a new carpet than have this one cleaned. There was no way i was going to try and clean it,as i couldn`t be sure of result. Can just imagine customer saying"he`s useless, have you seen the carpet,it`s still dirty"Sometimes it is better to turn work down than blacken your reputation.Just wondering if any of you guys have had this happen?

Adrian, I think ive posted this before , but we have a carpet installer, that we refer customers to when ever we come across a carpet that cant be cleaned. Purity gets a nice refferal fee if he gets the work.
