Look for Classes at IICRC for Water Damage Restoration in your Area.As carpet Cleaning goes with water damage.Besides its good for you to be Certified. Most Carpet Cleaners do Water Damage and as soon as You have your Certification I will let you know how to join Insurance works and Adjusters. These are a Minimum of of approximately $1500.00 per Water Damage to $100,000. Depends how big you can accomodate and how many Equipments you have on-hand. State Farm, All-State, Liberty, The Hartford inspects the Facilities and Number of Equipments. While Erie,Nationwide,AARP,does not.
We Started with 6 Air Movers and 3 Dehumidifiers and 1 Air Scrubber and have 1 or 2 Calls a month and have grown to 64 Air Movers and 30(1200 Model Dehu) and 17 LGR and 9 Air Scrubbers. With 2 Rotation Calls from All-State a month.Nationwide Pilot Program. 7 Areas for State Farm.State of Maryland for Liberty Erie The Hartford and Mostly Independent Adjusters(CADO) for a total of approximately 9-15 Calls a month. During the Winter Season and Storms or Disasters like the Hurricane Isabel in our State we worked 24/7 for 2weeks on Rotation and have made more than $85,000 in Cash since these are not Covered by Insurance. When Water comes from the outside unless they have Flood Insurance.
Sounds Very Sweet but its Hard Work and Dedication and have to go a lot of Learning.
In your Area You should be Making a lot of Money for Water Damages during Winter Seasons and Good Enough for Spring Cleaning and Summer Cleaning. But then Again Everything Depends How Good you are with Sales and Marketing.
