Those prices sound fair to me. I always try to bid so my prices land somewhere in the average between our local market $15-$25 per hour. I have never under or over bid, but bidding this way has weeded out the clients shopping for a "free" or minumum wage cleaner. I clean a house that size for $65 (house is "cleaned" before I get there!) weekly and also do some snow removal for the same client.
Good luck. Happy holidays!

Hello and happy holiday's. I am trying to redesign my door hanger. What type of information is best. My door hangers seem two basic. I feel like they need some service assets listed. The limited room is my concern. One of my customers suggested a mini flyer format. Ideas?
Thanks!!!

I need HELP! Here in Chubbuck I don't know if it's dust or poor cleaning chemicals use previously. However I have streaking and film smearing on mirrors no matter what I use amomia, windex or dawn and hot water.
Thanks!

I would charge no less than $60, more if it is high in dust or the floors are in poor shape. Good luck! I have had one cutomer like this and ithe customer ended up adding all types of extra's as I cleaned . Luckily we reached an agreement and we were both happy with! As other's have said here don't under value your time or labor!

Here in Chubbuck, Idaho a house that size for monthly is $100 max and drops to $65-85 for weekly/biweekly cleaning. Maybe $125 for a one time clean. Hope this helps!

What is the best Vacuum for residential if customer does not want you to use theres? Some of my customer's insist on it! Some prefer I use my equipment. Has any one ever used department store vacuums on a regular basis? I have heard the Eureka 4d "boss" is good. It as good as a dyson some say; I don't know.. Also commercial Eureka's are sold here in Pocatello. Currently my Dirt Devil is getting a work out.
Thanks!!!

Is a uniform of polo shirt with company logo and jeans or slacks good?

Thanks for the replies. As I work alone some people seem shocked that I am not just the sales rep. When I show up some customers are a little leary of a "Guy" cleaning there house.

Hi! I am just wondering how many other male residential cleaner's there are. Also what you do, for example I do house and window cleaning. Hope to go on to office and construction over time.

I like that hat and shirt idea! Does anyone have problems with customer's Holiday budgets cutting cleaning service out? I do. My customers are also good about staying out of the way.

This customer said he would call to let me know if there was a change, he also said to call him monday and let him know if I could still come and he would return my call to keep the appointment. He wanted to discuss things over the phone one more time then have me come out. But he would never return my calls. He contacted me thorugh another company, but then I guess he backed out? I think he wanted a set price over the phone but for house that large and move in cleaning wich means a lot of different things to customers I needed to see the house in person.

I have a possible customer, as I have tried to confirm an appointent for tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. But can not contact the customer to confirm. I left messages he did not return and he is 50 miles away. Should I just show up he iis there? How far to drive for a single client on average?
Thanks!! John Runer
